This is "Cyrise" from the Foundry Street Violence range, but I'm calling her "Jolene" which just sounds more Southern. She's got a big pistol on her left hip, an SMG, and a knife and grenade(!) on her right hip.
Okay, I know there are a lot of zombie gaming enthusiasts, and I've got a question. I need to bulk up my repertoire of zombies for my upcoming ATZ campaign. I have the zombies from Wargames Factory already, but they look more like "zombie extras." I'm looking for some front-row zombies, available in the US. Suggestions?
yeah thats what i plna on using my wargames factory zombies for and then get some really cool zombies for others. studio miniatures has the best in my opinion, their a uk store but the warstore has them.

Go with studio miniatures on first batch mate. They are good quality and really have personality.
ReplyDeleteNice work
ReplyDeleteI have tons of survivor, military types and I can't decide on what zombies to get either. I'm kinda of considering Mantics Ghouls/Zombies
She's pretty, studio miniatures for the zombies?
ReplyDeleteAs Mike and Lord Siwoc said, Studio Miniatures zombies are simply the best you can get. As for US based companies that I've dealt with Blue Moon and Zombiesmith are well worth considering. Mega Miniatures and Victory Force are also worth a look.
ReplyDeletethe zombiesmith Zombacalypse pack looks good and its a nice price 60 dollars
ReplyDelete"Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Joleeeeen!"
ReplyDeleteNice. Studio Miniatures are my favourite. For US companies, I can't speak from personal experience but I would go with Bryan's suggestions.
the extchange rate for british pounds is not a good option for the dollar and euro, so i think studio minis are out for me, but man they are fine
ReplyDeleteRob- I have to mirror Vampifans comments, try Zombiesmith, Josh is a great guy, one of my figures from him, Skater, had the hand holding the severed arm where it looked like it split off right where the hand meets the arm down along the length of the arm, the hand/arm were just hanging on by a small thread of lead. Josh offered to replace the figure at no cost to me and also let me keep the bad one. Ended up thanking him, and informing him that while appreciate the offer I was going to decline, since it wasn't that big of a deal to me, just was giving him a heads up about a miscast figure.
ReplyDeleteHaven't gotten Blue moon or Mega Minis yet, though they are on my list. There's also Recreational Conflict that has some Zombies, and survivors, the survivors include their S.P.R.U.E. (think resident Evil S.T.A.R.S.) the Bio Containment team, and some civilains.
You could also try Reaper, they have a couple Zombie sets in their Chronoscope line, not to mention their zombies in the fantasy line.
If you want the Studio Miniature zombies, Sgt. Major Miniatures has them listed in his store over at http://sgmm.biz/studio.html The white metal versions are the only ones he has, no resin versions. I also believe that the set with Mobs 3 and 4 (and the free Bub from original Day of the Dead) is currently sold out, though Mobs 3 and 4 are available separately.
Hey man, good work on Jolene, I might also suggest Cold war Minis, they carry some of my favorite mini zombies, but they are uk based though.

Good luck ...
Ordering from Cold Wars is awesome, though. Great service, cheap shipping, no hassle at all.
ReplyDeleteYou can order them from Brigade but you end up paying $6 more per pack than ordering direct.
I love Zombiesmith. Some of the poses are fantastic. Studio is clearly the best but there are a lot of small lines that get missed like copplestones plague zombies and the two packs from Crocodile as well as recreational conflict. BTW Mega minis now has the alpha range which have some cool stuff. Check Eureka usa for naked zombies that are excellent. Lots of choices, have fun!
